1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website, requesting a quote, or scheduling service with A1 Chimney & Masonry LLC ("we," "us," or "A1"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services Provided

A1 Chimney & Masonry LLC provides chimney and masonry services in Cincinnati, Ohio and surrounding areas of Ohio and Northern Kentucky. Services include but are not limited to:

• Chimney sweeps and inspections
• Tuckpointing and mortar repair
• Chimney waterproofing
• Animal removal and cap installation
• Fireplace repair and insert installation
• Flue liner installation
• Masonry repair and restoration

All services are performed by trained, CSIA-certified technicians. We are licensed and insured in the State of Ohio.

3. Quotes & Estimates

Quotes provided through our website, by phone, or via text are estimates only and based on the information you provide. Final pricing is confirmed in a written estimate after an in-person inspection. Quotes are generally valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

Pricing ranges shown on this website (e.g., "from $X") represent starting prices for typical residential jobs. Final cost depends on chimney condition, accessibility, materials, code requirements, and scope of work.

4. Scheduling & Cancellations

We schedule service appointments based on availability. While we make every effort to honor scheduled times, weather conditions, emergencies, or jobs running long may require rescheduling. We'll communicate any changes as early as possible.

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance when possible. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in a service fee on future appointments.

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service unless other terms have been agreed to in writing. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Returned checks are subject to a returned-check fee in accordance with Ohio law.

For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work begins. Deposit amounts and final balance terms will be specified in your written estimate.

6. Workmanship Warranty

We stand behind the quality of our work. Specific warranty terms for each service are provided in writing on your invoice. Material warranties (such as the 10-year sealant warranty on chimney waterproofing) are provided by the manufacturer and subject to their terms.

Warranty does not cover damage caused by neglect, improper use, severe weather events, structural issues outside our scope of work, or modifications made by third parties after our service.

7. Customer Responsibilities

To allow us to safely and efficiently perform service, customers agree to:

• Provide accurate information about the property and the work needed
• Ensure safe access to the chimney, fireplace, and roof as applicable
• Disclose any known structural issues, hazards, or recent repairs
• Not use the fireplace or appliance for at least 24 hours before service
• Keep pets and children away from work areas during service

8. Limitation of Liability

While we take every reasonable precaution to protect your property during service, A1 Chimney & Masonry LLC is not liable for pre-existing damage, conditions hidden behind walls or within chimney structures, or incidental damage outside the direct scope of our work. Liability for any direct damage we cause is limited to the cost of repair or the amount paid for the specific service, whichever is less.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, lost profits, or property damage caused by factors outside our control.
